Experimental film on the ways of “Beautifully Doing” as a Diné/Kewa person in 2022. Images of clouds, processes wool, grinding corn and wrapping tea mixed with 1960 16 mm images of US public school films. Still photos & color enhanced shots to emphasize the experimental stylization. Sounds of a Diné traditional song by Shima, Pearl Sunrise, of the “Beautiful” pathways mixed with cello riffs from Randall Warren, Diné cellist. All woven together to create a Nizhóni pattern of life whilst holding on to our ways of through processes of “Nizhónígo Baa nijighaá- Beautifully Doing”.
